I just like how the pattern of lines looks. It's not quite symmetric, but it has a sort of balance to it. But then, it's time for me to be asleep already, I drank 1/3 of a bottle of apple liquer tonight, and I just found out I have to take the garbage out.
On a technical note, it seems that PNG files have serious issues when it comes to digital photos, so I used JPG for once.
Also, this is my first test of the daily text file thingy. Lets see how it renders out tomorrow.
First comic Previous comic
Welcome to TomatoEvil. TomatoEvil is a project I started because I know my drawing ability is far below what I want it to be for the story that I want to tell.
The theory was, I would just post sketches of whatever I come up with. Problem is that I've been somewhere between lazy and busy, thus not much has been posted as yet.
So, as a challenge to try and get me to work on it more regularly, I decided to post something- anything- each day of this week (July 4 through July 10, 2005).
The purpose of this comic is to make me get something resembling actual drawing ability, and also to display random stuff. To help in my endeavors I've recruited the assistance of of Dan, who relies upon MS-paint powers for the most part. Most of my stuff, I sketch out by hand first, scan, and then redraw in whatever software I feel like using at the time (subject to availability), though in Jojo's case I skipped the scanning part and just referenced the sketch and drew it in paint.net (which is a pretty nifty program, but miraculously misses some of the handy features of MS paint somehow; at least the version I have is lacking square brushes)
Anyway, have the appropriate amount of fun.

Edit: Yeah, using something of Dan's for the 5th is sort of cheating. Whatever.
